Welcome!

The 2005 band in Saskatchewan
The National Youth Band
of Canada is the most comprehensive music education project offered to the
youth of Canada.
The main focus of the project is to provide an opportunity for young
musicians to work with a professional conductor and soloist, and to share and
demonstrate their musical achievement and creativity. It serves as a forum to
showcase and develop the talent of Canada's youth while further promoting a
lifelong interest in music specifically, the arts in general, as well as
fostering an understanding of these elements as fundamental to life's
experience and to the cultural fibre of Canadian youth today—Canada's
future.

composers and all other individuals interested in band and band music.
