Canadian Wind Conductors Development Program Now in its 10th year, the Canadian Wind Conductors Development Program will be held in Winnipeg from July 16 - 22, 2010. Faculty includes Dale Lonis, Fraser Linklater, Jason Caslor, and guest Denise Grant. Designed as a three-year program for beginning conductors and mid-career conductors/educators, activities include conducting sessions in front of a live full or chamber ensemble; practicums in rehearsal pedagogy, listening skills development, the philosophical, psychological and physical aspects of conducting and score preparation; and professional development and promotion.
